FruitFX Frog Pedal

The FruitFX Frog Pedal is a fun and unique effect. It changes ordinary playing into something strange, lively, and memorable. From the first note, it changes your guitar or bass into a deep, croaky voice. It feels more like a living creature than just a piece of gear.

FruitFX Guitar Frog Pedal Review

The FruitFX Frog Pedal, developed with guitarist and content creator Jordan Wav, takes his original handmade idea and refines it into a more consistent and road ready format while keeping its quirky personality intact.

This is an analog, monophonic octave down pedal, so it is built to track one note at a time. Single note lines, riffs, and melodies bring out its best, while chords tend to sound messy by design. The pedal has a raw and organic feel that responds closely to your playing style. Pick lightly and it stays smoother. Dig in harder and it becomes more aggressive and unpredictable.

FruitFX Frog Monophonic Octave Pedal Features

  • Drops your sound down for a deep, frog like voice
  • Best used for single notes and simple lines
  • Reacts to how hard or soft you play
  • Works well with guitar and bass
  • Designed to be fun, weird, and inspiring

FruitFX Frog Octave Pedal Specs

  • Analog octave down effect
  • Monophonic design for one note at a time
  • Capable of one or two octaves down
  • Streamlined build for better consistency

FruitFX Frog Guitar Pedal Controls

Frog Knob

The Frog knob is the heart of the FruitFX Frog Pedal. It controls how the pedal tracks your notes and reacts to your instrument. Turning this knob changes how the octave down effect feels. It helps the effect respond better to different guitars, basses, and playing styles.

This knob is especially useful for dialing in the best response across low and high notes. Small tweaks can change the sound from smooth and rounded to wild and random. This knob is key to finding your favorite Frog voice.

Volume Knob

The Volume knob adjusts the output level of the pedal when you turn on the effect. It allows you to match the Frog Pedal’s level to your clean sound or push it slightly louder to make the effect stand out. This knob makes it easy to balance the pedal without losing clarity or presence.

2-Way Octave Switch (-1 /-2)

The 2-way Octave Switch lets you choose how deep the FruitFX Frog Octave Effect goes. Set to -1, the pedal drops your signal down one octave for a thick and punchy low sound that still feels controlled. Flip it to -2, and the pedal drops your signal down two octaves for an even deeper, heavier, and more cartoon-like tone.

Both settings respond differently based on your play style. This switch is a strong way to change the overall character of the effect.

Footswitch

The footswitch turns the FruitFX Frog Pedal on and off. It gives you quick access to the frog-like octave down sound whenever you feel inspired. This makes it easy to use the effect during a song or jam.

FruitFX Frog Guitar Effect Disclaimer

Due to the analog nature of the FruitFX Frog Pedal, tracking can vary depending on where you play on the neck. Some notes, especially at the extreme high or low end, may not track perfectly or at all. That is not a flaw but part of the pedal’s charm. Using the Frog knob and switching to your neck pickup can help improve tracking and shape the response.

The pedal is also very sensitive to transients, meaning your picking strength has a big impact on how it reacts. In the end, this is not a precision tool. It is built for fun, creativity, and embracing the weird side of your tone.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.
